Getting to and around Mobile

After parking, Bienville Square, Dauphin Street, downtown museums, and the riverfront are close enough for selective walking. I-10 and the Bayway

Walk the center; drive the bay deliberately

Bienville Square, Dauphin Street, Cathedral Square, the Carnival Museum, History Museum, Fort Condé, the National Maritime Museum, and Cooper Riverside Park can fit a downtown stay with selective walking. Battleship Memorial Park sits east across Mobile Bay on Battleship Parkway. The Causeway continues through low wetlands and waterfront businesses where weather and traffic matter.
